With all that is going on this year, swine flu, regular flu, stress from the economy, it’s time to think about what you are going to do this season to stay in top shape.
– Go for an annual checkup. This will provide a baseline. Be sure to ask you doctor about any exercising or other restrictions that may come up.
– Now that you have been cleared for exercise, make sure you do a minimum of 20-30 minutes per day, 3 days a week. A brisk walk will do wonder for both you physical and psychologically.
– Eat healthy. Put Vegetables and Fruits in your diet. It is recommended that you eat 5 servings of fruit a day. Also make sure to drink plenty of water.
– Vitamins. Take supplements. Make sure you get your doctors approval.
– Keep your hands clean. There are too many ways to pick up germs. Try to wash your hands as best as possible throughout the day.
